An odd beginning

I started thinking today.  While my children say, learn, and do new things everyday. there is never enough room in a baby book to share our daily adventures.  And lets face it, if I were to write it out on paper, it would eventually be found, and turned into drawings. So, my vow from this point forward is to at least put down 2 sentences in here a day in terms of what we do.  This way I can embarrass, or rather share, with the boys what they did when they were little.

Let's see what we did today:

Carter learned how to play with goop today.  It was just cornstarch and water mixed together, but man did he have fun dripping it all over himself and playing in it.  He also played independently for 30 minutes today.  It was odd, but it is yet another successful building block on the road to independence.

Pierce has had a bad day today.  He had a temp of about 103 all day, and some, um, stomach troubles.  However, he did play with his Thomas the Tank train set and pretended he was a helicopter.  He also started a whole bunch of random songs today.  Not a lot to mention, but Itsy Bitsy Spider, Somewhere Over the Rainbow, Ballroom Blitz, and "Diarrhea cha cha cha" were his things today.  Oh little boys.
