Day 2 of the blog...

I am finding that forcing myself to make time to come on here is a bit of a challenge.  It is currently 8:07 PM. I have Pierce running around the house on his car, and Carter is climbing the desk, chairs, anything he can get his hands and feet on.  However, here are the highlights of our mostly boring day.

Pierce is still not feeling well. He did not sleep last night, which made for a very cranky momma and daddy this morning.  He did some painting with daddy today, but was very content just laying on the couch watching Yo Gabba Gabba.  I ended up taking him to the doctor's office, and he has Hand Foot and Mouth yet again.  The doctor gave us real Advil (not generic), and I swear that has super powers.  He is currently riding one fire truck ride on, while holding onto the blue car, and is making a train through the house with them.  And laughing the whole time.  We have also done storytime, dinner time, and he was trying to figure out how to use my digital camera to take pictures.  BIG note to self:  buy him his own.

Carter is kinda cranky too.  I keep saying it is teeth, but he has been teething for what seems like FOREVER.  Today Carter did some painting, and had quite a bit of free time.  He also received his birthday present from Uncle Josh and Jess today, and was SUPER excited to hear him reading him a story.  It was so cute.  From there it was on to taking everything out, yet putting mostly everything back.   And the SUPER big highlight?  He took two steps on his own!  He started off holding onto me, and I kinda slipped my hand out.  He was fine until he realized he was on his own, and then sat down.  GO CARTER GO!!!!
