Another dose of catch up.

I have not updated in awhile, because truthfully, I really haven't been with the kiddos. Friday we just hung out at home, and I started teachingp30@4.:«-0-"-"". Pierce how to write the letter "A". Then we cut things out that started with the letter A, which was also teaching hm some vocabulary. Carter is also working on expanding his vocabulary, and I have been letting him explore and just telling him everything he is doing. It is so funny to hear him try to make sentences. They also played with their sensory bin, and there was rice, macaroni, and beans EVERYWHERE. But they totally had fun scooping it and filling things. It actually turned out to be a great lesson.

Shortly after Dan came home, we went out for a date WITHOUT children. I think we are finally realizing that as much as we love our kids, we need to find ways to be us too. Once we got back from our date, we did bath and put them to bed, and just relished in the quiet. :)

I really cannot tell you much about Saturday, since I left at 8 am to spend the entire day with my mom until 940 pm. From what I heard, the boys and Mimi went to the Farmer's Market in Watertown, and then went to their cousin's house for a birthday party.

Sunday I worked all morning, came home to a sleeping Carter and a super excited Pierce to play with me. :). We literally wrestled for a good 15 minutes, which woke up Carter, and then we went to Target to run errands. Then it was nap for Pierce, and play time for Carter. Once Pierce woke up, we spent family time at Veterans Park in Watertown, where Pierce and I played in the rain. :)

Then it was dinner time, and bath and bed time. I need to mention that there have only been a handful of accidents the last 3 days for Pierce, an he is pretty much in underwear full time. Yay! Carter is also finally using his walker, and is zooming around the house quite well. I cannot believe how fast the boys are growing.
