Almost didn't post tonight.

There was not a whole lot of exciting stuff on my end today.  I had to work this morning, so Dan was able to have fun with the kiddos and do arts and crafts time today.  They made the cutest craft ever!  Dan made them a little mobile made out of triangles to hang in their room (our focus was on triangles today), and then Pierce correlated that a shape with 3 sides is a triangle.  Def a big improvement for an almost 2 1/2 year old!

Carter did some coloring with me tonight, and both boys were able to play at Veteran's park tonight with a new playgroup.  The ladies are fantastic, and really are from all different walks of life.  Other than that and taking a 3 hour nap, we had a great day!  I was even able to clean the living room, kitchen, and play room top to bottom today since both boys napped at the same time!

However, I am currently reminded why the boys have a bed time routine:  Joyce came home from Ireland tonight, and I know she missed the boys.  She told me not to, but I thought the boys were sleeping, so I opened the door to their room.  Well, Carter was asleep.  Pierce was not.  Now I let Pierce stay up for an extra half hour, and he is SCREAMING at the top of his lungs in his room right now since I put him back to bed.  Note to self - even if I want something, it doesn't mean it is the best thing in the world.  Sometimes the older the wiser.
