What an awesome day!

For today, I wanted to do a couple of special projects with the boys before I went to work. Trisha gave me the idea of worms in dirt, and honestly I love chocolate pudding. I had this vision in my head that the boys would love to help make it, and then want to play in it with me. I anticipated having to bathe them before story time today. What happened instead? Everything was going great...until Piere realized he can just grab the bag of gummy worms, and not have to stick his fingers in the pudding. And Carter decided that if Pierce wasn't touching the end product, neither was he. However, I do need to give them credits where credit is due. Pierce did enjoy making the pudding, and I let carter go to town smashing the chocolate cereal. Hey, whatever works, right?

Dan and I have decided to send Pierce to the home daycare I looked at last week with Pierce. And the funny part is, as soon as We pulled in the driveway, he exclaimed "momma! Big boy school! See ya later!". And then went inside. I guess he truly does like it there. He is sooooo excited, and while I am a bit apprehensive, I am super excited too.

After family nap time today, we went to Nystroms pond for what will be one of the last beach days of this year. We had so much fun just making sand fishes, shoveling, learning that bubbles float on the water and are carried away by wind, and Carter just cared about picking flowers today. It was nice to just relax and kick back with the kiddos before work.

I would say by the quiet in the house when I got home, that the kids are worn out. A sensory bucket, cooking(ish), visiting the school, story time, playing on the beach, and playing with daddy I guess will make you zonked. :). Good night everyone! Tomorrow I am going to help Pierce make his own mini pond in a bucket. He is so excited about that.
