A not so exciting day.

A short update for today since we did not really do that much. We discovered this morning that the Lion King was on Disney Junior. I was so excited that I could finally share this amazing movie with the kids. And they wanted nothing to do with it. Pierce just wanted bubbles, and Carter danced here and there. And then they were both more involved in fighting over the one train they have. So I decided that we were going to toy r us with the gift card Carter had received, and we were getting another train set.

To our surprise, all of the Brio (?) wooden train sets were 60% off, so they ended up with 2. :). However, I learned a valuable lesson. Do not let both boys loose at the train table while you look for train sets. They did not want to leave, and they were playing together so incredibly well, that they had to be bribed to leave the table. That is a good thing though, since I plan on building them one for Christmas.

After Toys R Us, we came home, and did some coloring. Today Pierce drew Carter and some leaves. Carter, however, passed out and missed out on coloring. :(. When they woke up (which was surprisingly at the same time), we finished making Shepherd's Pie for dinner, and just went out to enjoy the beautiful fall air. Pierce and I were chipping golf balls (yes, I actually did hit the ball), while Carter decided that climbing on the picnic table was way more fun.

Mimi came home, and 4 of us went to Rockwell to go running and play on the playground. Then we came home and well, it's bedtime. :).

Yup, they loved the table.

Pierce figuring out if he puts glue on his foot, he can stick things to it.  Like paper.  

He climbed to the top without help.  He is getting too big!
